Scientology Volunteer Ministers Complete 12-Day Mission in Senigallia, Reaching Over 1,600 Residents
Senigallia, Italy — June 12, 2025 — After twelve days of community outreach, training, and humanitarian service, the Scientology Volunteer Ministers (VMs) have concluded their stop in Senigallia, where their iconic Yellow Tent stood as a beacon of help and hope in the Palazzesi Gardens.
The initiative, part of a global tour promoting eu news practical life skills and disaster response, drew 1,681 visitors in just eleven days. As a highlight, 306 individuals enrolled in Volunteer Minister courses, designed to empower people to overcome challenges in areas like communication, relationships, work, and study. For comparison, a recent stop in Modena drew 1,050 attendees and 176 course enrollments.
“We believe that by helping the individual, we uplift the whole community,” said Samuel Arena, one of the team leaders.
“A prescindere da qualsiasi situazione negativa la persona possa incontrare, qualcosa si può fare a riguardo.”
The Volunteer Ministers are no strangers to Senigallia. In 2022, over 50 VMs came to the city’s aid following severe floods, contributing more than 1,000 hours of volunteer service. Their work continues beyond emergencies: cleaning parks, offering personal assistance, and training citizens through 19 practical courses developed by Church of Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard.
“Our commitment doesn’t stop with disasters,” said Gloria Forne, one of the volunteers.
“Aiutiamo tutto ciò che è necessario e tutto ciò che ci viene richiesto.”
Senator Remigio Ceroni praised the VMs’ civic spirit during his visit:
“Scientology’s volunteers gave important support during the recent emergency in Senigallia. Volunteerism is one of Italy’s greatest strengths.”
Iván Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU and UN, emphasized the broader impact:
“The Yellow Tent reminds us that action, knowledge, and compassion can light up even the darkest corners of life.”
With over 200,000 Volunteer Ministers worldwide, this movement continues to grow as one of the largest independent relief networks—showing that something can be done about it.
